Little Cat Update

Just heard from the vet. Little cat is out of surgery and recovering comfortably (they said it took a fair amount of anaesthesia to put her under-not surprising considering how frightened she was).

Turns out she wasn't pregnant. Her little bulging belly and swaybacked walk really had us fooled. She did have roundworms. She tested negative ( Read more... )

She'll be so dopy when you pick her up that she likely won't even notice. She'll also likely not be in a jumping mood for a few days.

Very unlikely--the spousal unit has been very (VERY) tolerant and understanding about the whole thing, but he still really doesn't want a second cat.

Now that she's spayed we'll start the hunt for an adoptive home in earnest.

Say--YOU'VE just moved to a new place. You could use a cat. It's not home without a cat.

She's still there, though, isn't she? :)

This reminds me of how I ended up with MY rotten beast of a cat (feral, took her in 'just for a few days' almost six years ago).
