The familiar/totem thing is just an animal that you feel works with who you are. Whether it be their traits, or what they look like etc it's just something you feel close to.
Great list of songs there and I've now added August Rush to my must see list.
I hope whatever bad thing happened in your life continues to get better.

haha, loving the glee songs atm too. especially like a prayer and gives you hell.
lol what is it with people not understanding the totem thing? if you were a witch you would have a familiar, but a totem is basically an animal that you feel reflects who you are.
tell me you only watched that for heather morris...actually, it doesn't sound like a bad thing to watch.
