02. “I just didn’t BELIEVE that she acted in any way like she was the Doctor’s wife.” -- if we assume that she only ever knew or saw The Doctor in one incarnation [not a ridiculous stretch, I think], then... even if you knew that one of your loved ones was able to regenerate, then if you ever unexpectedly ran into them in a new body, how long would it take you to get COMPLETELY comfortable with the fact that this is them? Comfortable enough to regain all your previous intimacy? I'd say that for most people, it'd take more than a day, which is longer than they were together here. Me, I was impressed as heck that River RECOGNIZED him...

02. Well, and that's the problem for me... I am generally the plothole filling expert. I do it automatically and without thinking. The way that River reacted...did not say to me, "I've never seen that form before." Especially because she kept saying, "You look so young." I know that that can be all....about EYES and stuff with the Doctor but all the same, it would've been nice if she'd just blurted out something like, "Oh, it's your older form ( ... )
