General Tso's Red Hot Chili Peppers

Depending on where I get my General Tso's chicken, I can usually count on one--maybe two--dried chili peppers in the mix. The token pepper is there to say, "Yeah, yeah. This is hot and spicy. Whatever."

Tonight, I found no less than ten peppers in my General Tso's.

Someone was obviously trying to kill me.

Fortunately, I escaped the assasination

Have you ever noticed those are the same peppers that they put in parrot chow? I never trust Chinese places.....those BBQ spareribs are too small and always look like they come from cats or guinea pigs:)

Those peppers are the best things in Chinese food! Slice them, stir them in or eat them whole.
