Wondering with Mark Twain

I wonder what Twain is thinking as he stands there atop the granite steppes of the pedestal. Surely he’d chuckle if he could see himself that way, raised up like that, though it’d please his ego, too

Clemons is buried in Elmira too, you know. His grave is 100 yaards or so away from that of my former mother in law. I've visited it a couple of times.

Yeah, I paid a visit last night while I was at the adjacent National Cemetery. Woodlawn is a neat old cemetery.
