Post-Milliways: "This is not getting in trouble so much as avoiding it."

... where there is, of course, a room that would not easily be described as 'spacious.'

Actually, it's really not.

Just a bed. And a bureau. And an endtable.

Some random pictures on the walls of people Slack's probably never met.

Yep, it's not exactly the most pleasant location ever, *she shrugs, smiling* but it works.

He shrugs. 'It has everything we need.' He's glad the deal's done. He likes Slack, but now he doesn't have to pretend to be anything he's not.

Well, *Slack replies, kicking at the floor a bit,* almost. It's sparse when it comes to actually being comfortable.

*The part of the floor that was kicked squeaks and opens a bit, and Slack takes a Swiss Army knife out of her boot, drops it in the floor and slams it shut.*

Bloody hell, it's impossible to be professional -- as much as I ever was -- in a place like this.

He stares at the knife and moves in towards her. 'What do you need that for?' He probably sounds a little pissed off.

I don't now, but I did before. Y'know. In case.

Bar opened for Reckoning once, after all. Never say it won't again.

*She doesn't look pleased about that. At all.*

He jerks his head towards the endtable. 'You wont need it with me, so put it over there. I don't like weapons near me Slack.'

She doesn't know about the couple of knives in his pocket, but then again, she doesn't need to. He wont use them, he just wants to get laid.

*She holds up her hands defensively.*

Weaponless now, my friend. I swear on it.

*And Slack narrows her eyes jsut very, very slightly.*

You'll have to do the same. Just a precaution, I've been left for dead.
