"She left."
My body started to shake, my jaw got stiffened. I opened my mouth and tried to suck in some lungful of air. My vision began to blur, instead, I shook my head and feign a smile.
"What do you mean by 'left'?"
"She's gone."
"No. No. No. There's a mistake."
He shook his head, disagreeing with me.
"You're kidding, right?" I snickered and laughed. However, he didn't find it funny. He lower his head and did not look at my eyes.
I exhale as I walked away, I could feel my inner parts trembling as I felt something warm drip down my cheeks.
Alarmed, I wiped it off and stared at it.
I touched my forehead, there were no signs of sweat.
By accident, I touched my eyes.
It’s misted.
