Yeah and the other day, I was daydreaming about John Entwistle in math class, then my teacher goes, "I know it's big, but you have to picture it in your head. As long as you can visualize it, you can get an idea of what it looks like." XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD OMG SERIOUSLY I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED. I have NO CLUE what she was reeeeally talking about but XD

That is SO awesome about jazz band!!!!!!!!!!! :D My school district used to have one at the high school when I was in elementary, but by the time I got to high school it was gone. :( They just kept concert/traditional band and marching band. I'm such a music fan too and I always thought it would be awesome!!! :D

However, I was more into choir and I got to do that for 8 years at all of my schools!!! :D Plus, I was in the highest level of choir in high school, sang Alto, and we got awards at contest and learned to sight-read, which is how I figured out how to play piano. LOL ;) I have to play piano/keyboards by sight which means either sheet music or by memorizing which keys to hit after being shown. I didn't inherit my Mom's gift of playing by ear. She's awesome with that and playing something after hearing it!!! :D But I can also memorize song lyrics only after hearing the song once or twice, and memorize singers' voices and know pretty much by voice who is singing what song.

Yeah, I play piano by ear. I can sorta kinda read treble, but bass is so much easier for me so I basically suck at reading 1/2 of piano, haha. That's really cool that you can memorize lyrics easily! I can never do that, gotta play the song at least 10 times, and even then... lol

Thanks!!! :D I always wished I could play but ear, so that's awesome you can too. ;) I'm so lucky I was in choir that long. After I left high school they cut it for the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. :( It's sad they seem to not care as much about music.

Yeah, I know. I can't believe that all these schools are cutting music! It's ridiculous! It's just as important as all of the required subjects, but people just don't understand anymore, ugh.
