That's SO awesome you got the bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D It looks GREAT and I'm glad your having a good time and I hope you have a great time in CA too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Awesome! That was the $50 one, right? That's one damn good deal... the thing is gorgeous :) Congrats on the awesome find!
I'm so jealous you're heading off to CA too... I'd die to move there some day, lol.
Hope you're having a great time with the bass! I knew it was a great deal :)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to add: don't worry about the buzzing. Believe me, you'll drive yourself mad with it. I bought a brand new Hofner months ago and the frets were raised and uneven on it... so even my NEW bass buzzes :/ I'd have to drop a bit of money to get them fixed, but I might do that in the future. It's very common with stringed instruments, no matter where the noise is coming from.
Thanks! I'll take your advice. It's kinda annoying me cuz I just got a $40 tune up on it and now the buzzing's even worse, but it's alright. Still sounds BA. I'm SOOO jealous you got a Hofner though O_O Too bad it buzzes, but at least that means it must have pretty good action, right? : /
Can't wait for California, it's gorgeous there, so I totally agree
Bass bass bass! Squee! Looks fabulous! (and of course I like your shirt in that pic as well, haha!)
And the Poconos are lovely, aren't they? Wild blueberries om nom nom. (Being a South Jersey girl, I am very familiar with wild blueberries; there are zillions of bushes in the Pine Barrens!) Most people I know love the shore, whereas I'm like, eh, shore's all right, but I prefer the mountains! Even if they are the "mountains" of PA or north Jersey. Much greener. =D
Heehee thanks so much! :D I love him <3 But I'm no John, of course
And YES, love the Poconos. I go there every summer, so I'm used to the blueberries and whatnot, but I still love them. Had no idea you lived that close though! 8D I'm from Long Island (pronounced: Lonn Guyland. jk) Definitely agree with you. I basically live on the shore and I say it's way overrated. Mountains are easier to admire, esp when it's mountains, woods, AND lakes, like here. :)
Lonn Guyland? ;) Then we're practically neighbors, haha! In LJ land, anyway, when I get SUPER EXCITED if I find anybody on the East Coast, let alone the next state over! (So sad, I must restrict my geeking out over music and clothes to the internet. Or my family and friends would have to kill me.)
Yep, Lonn Guyland, but luckily I don't have a Long Island accent. XD I'm so happy that we're within like 100 miles! 8D That's too bad you don't have any friends who like the same music/clothes. I'm the same way usually though. They only let me spazz/fangirl so much. : / It sucks
