GREATTTTT DAY today! Besides staying up ALL NIGHT and then crashing for a mere 90 minutes at 11 am before being stranded for 5 hours at the library X_X

Was AWESOME though! Read up on SO many awesome musicians. Saw this book of pics of Dylan, and omg. HIS CLOTHES! HIS EYES! HIS HAIR! I love that man. XD I think I'm sort of addicted to people who ( Read more... )

Why did I never before notice that George has a tambourine on his head in that picture? ...yeah and I totes know what you mean about people who are all "I am what I am, HATERS GONNA HATE, W/E" about stuff. I would submit that adopting that attitude is easier for men than it is for women though, cause LOL bodyshaming and cultural "norms" that are impossible to live up to and fun things like that. :/

I know right! Women frustrate me like that. Why do we have to be so fake all the time? Make up our faces, change our hair, hell! we even change the color of our nails. I just want to be real. Wish it wasn't so hard. : / Psshh, who cares about "the norms," just wanna be me.

I don't use makeup to look pretty for other people, I do it to look interesting, and only use a bit most of the time anyway. And although I don't fit too well into the typical idea of "sexy", I always feel damn cool, and you know why? Cos I look exactly how I want to ;)

All I have to go on Dylan is the fact I laughed when I first heard his voice and then got pissy with him when I saw him saying something about not giving an autograph because they didn't NEED it.

Wow.....Y'see I am THE CURIOUS CAT -I do this with films all the time,I'm a fool to myself- and looked up the book and even read the bit put up on Amazon and thought he wrote well.

Yeah, Bob could be a bastard, but he didn't mean to be. He just got so caght up in his own philosophies, like most people of the 60s (including post-Beatles John & George). : /

Love that pic of George!!! :D I always thought the tambourine looked like a crown, even more when I first saw that pic years ago. LOL ;)

Didn't know that about Eric Idle "directing" the vids either. ;) LOL

Hehe, yeah, that's why I chose that pic. He wears it so proudly. It's as if nothing's out of the ordinary. But maybe it wasn't. Maybe he ALWAYS wore tambourines in the studio. O_O

Seriously, it's the best book EVER. I literally have to drool over it every time I go to the library. Could look at that thing for HOURS. It's probably way too much money for me to buy. : /
