Joan Baez is AMAZING. Her voice is so beautiful, and she's so real and down-to-earth.

I haven't heard of the Cellist of Sarajevo before. O: I'm gonna have to look him up, because you've got me awfully intrigued.

AND HELL YA TANK MAN. I love people like that, who have the heart and guts to stand up to forced and violent authority. It's people like him we need more of.

Yeah, I saw this awesome vid of him just playing in the street and an older Joan Baez walks by and just kneels and cries and they just hug and I'm just like D'AWWWW. So beautiful. <3 I wish I could find the clip ;(

Man, I <3 Joanie hardcore. She's incredibly talented and as has been said above, seems like a really cool, no-bs person unlike most women in the music industry today who (and don't hurt me for saying this) are basically cardboard cutouts and Playboy centerfolds. Anyway my point is, Joan ttly rules. I actually got into her in the first place because I found out my dad hates her and I was like "...interesting." XD
