I started writing a Beckett and Mercer ficlet last night. I was inspired by the folkloric implications of Florence and The Machine's "Remain Nameless" and I decided to play with the local folklore that both men would have been aware of at the time. Oh man, it'd be quite funny if Beckett was the "elf" sort of creature and Mercer human but so very much well aware of who and what Beckett is and not giving a two penny damn.
