Lord Beckett's Servants

I was planning to write a few fics featuring Lord Cutler Beckett's domestic staff and their interactions with him, but ran across a minor problem... I didn't know what kinds of servants he would have had. So I did a bit of research, and present to you all, my notes on different types of servants that might have existed back then:

I think this is a very very good idea! In other people's fanon for Cutler there is an old valet named Saunders who has known Cutler since he was an infant. He's very arthritic and it's hard for him to work but Cutler keeps him on. He also does not trust Mercer. Cassiopaya wrote a grand fic with him in it.

Also, if you look at Telera's stories there are two very well developed servant characters, Mrs. Brown the housekeeper and Marie the french maid. I have a whole bunch of those saved and even gave them a cameo in my fic if you'd like to look.

I have read that story, and a few others with Saunders in it, and I definitely like him, he's one of my favourite OCs in the community. I think I want a slightly younger and more mobile valet for Beckett though. Perhaps I should name him Sanders as an homage to Saunders? ;)

I am less familiar with Telera's OCs, I have read some but not all of her stories and I do like them (I'm reading from the start of the community, and am up to Dec 2006 so far). I should find time to go back and keep reading so I can get to more of her fics, I like to see how others' servant OCs are written =)
