The Cuckoos are all telepaths, so to what extent can they do the standard psychic things like read your character's thoughts, influence their minds, etc?

Of course, I won't do any of these without asking specific permission first, but this is so I can get a general idea of what they can and cannot do. Thank you!

John's good at recognizing and dealing with mind control and influence. It can happen to him, when he's off his guard, but he's talented at spotting the joints where his mind doesn't match up quite right.

He's got wards and he knows how to control himself (no really! He just...often doesn't choose to), but he "leaks" around the edges sometimes. If they interact, I'll try to work that in. But being magic isn't the same as being psychic. If they were intent on getting in there, I imagine they could. Though they might not like what they find. >.> Some days John's mind can be a horrible place.

Also he can lie even inside his own head. It's his superpower. Only not really, except for how it might as well be.

You're free to do whatever is IC for them for AU Spidey, Kirk, and Supergirl.

I've mentioned it a couple times for this most recent plot but the Joker is resistant to mindreading and VERY resistant to mind control. He is not superhuman but his madness is such a furious mess that his thoughts resemble “a billion, fiery locusts blotting out a dead, black sun”.

Martian Manhunter managed to control him but only for about a minute before the pressure became too much bear and he had to release the clown. He likened the experience to harnessing a storm.

If it's IC for them to want to influence him or read him they are welcome to try but it may not work very well.

YEAH, THE JOKER IS A LITTLE HAX
