Newtype 05/2010 issue

I've been doing this for years now, but this sharing business is really monstrously time consuming @__@

Believe it or not, but the content of this post, between scanning/editing/uploading, took me around 8 hours to complete!! I can't feel my back and my neck anymore, or more like: I do, and it hurts ;__;

By the way, this issue of Newtype came up with

I really appreciate what you did that. And what you've been doing for the past months.

I never scanned a manga myself, let alone Newtype (which I know it's harder). So I appreciate it even more.

Sorry if I may have sounded bitter in the first lines of my post aha~ But yeah, my neck was truly killing me and I started to feel sort of a bit murderous at some point ^^;;

Newtype is always a challenge to scan because the pages are bigger then the usual scanner's dimensions, so the real problem is to know how to position the page to cut off a minimum and definitely not on a way it would look weird, and also, the other problem is that I have to press on the scanner's lead to limit the shadows on the borders =__= The other thing is that I'm a perfectionist and that I tried to edit all the pages and also re-scanned several of them because I wasn't satisfied about something or another...

I can already tell you beforehand that I'll be also purchasing the June and July issues of Newtype too, together with the shounen mag special for holitsuba in May and then the besatsu shounen for the new holic in June ^^ I can't tell what I'll buy or not beyond that though~

Scanning can indeed be pretty painful ;__;
I think I shouldn't have done too much in one day and divided the work, better than stay working on it non stop ^^;; The Newtype pages are bigger than normal so it's really a pain to scan, since I always have to find the right position to be sure the minimum will be cropped and also press on the scanner's lead to minimize the shadows on the borders UGH =__=
