It's a shame it has to come to this. I don't understand what that guy's issue is. I mean, I've seen him over on Jordan's blog in political debated, and J has friends who disagree with him, hell sometimes VEHEMENTLY. But at the end of the day they either end up just leaving it at simple disagreement, or they move on to talk about OTHER things. But these are NORMAL people. Normal people don't stalk, don't act like sexist entitled pricks, and don't turn internet disagreements into ongoing obsessions with everything from day to day journal entries to fiction writing
( ... )
Yes, it does quite suck, as I do have a quiet readerbase who simply enjoys reading what I post and share. There is literally nothing that is discussed here on my blog that is unsuitable for general reading from 13 years onward, swearing and all. But, hopefully, the inconvenience is easily surmountable (and, for Shadowdancer's Scribblings, a forum account.)
See, I don't think Yama has an actual girlfriend. I kind of wish he did -- he might normal out a bit if he had to relate to a real human being instead of spending all his time in his weird Asian-porn fantasyverse or whatever the heck runs in his head.
You ought to audition your friends--I do. You don't know anything about any of us. This kind of stalkery thing happened to another lady I knew a couple years ago, and before I was smart enough to track my IP addresses and ban anonymous posting, some freak said I should get hurt very badly over a basic internet squabble.
I auditioned you and everybody else on my friends list.
I actually don't auto-friend people; never have. The problem originally appeared in a different blog, before spreading from there. I observe people in discussions for a while - frequently for a period of several months, before I ask if said person would mind friending me. You, for example, I've seen plenty on Jordan's blog, and struck me as someone I'd enjoy having discussions with, even if we disagree on some things, so when you friended me, I friended you back. A lot of people I am friends with here I know from other venues. Some add my LJ because they like the stuff I write about, and a few more friends have blogs that initially were created to follow my blog; usually from gaming groups.
I researched Yama a couple times. His biggest Internet presence was when he was harassing these neo-Nazis and managing to make the neo-Nazis look like good guys by comparison. That's a talent, I think.
Oh, of course, keep me on. I enjoy your posts so much!
Yama is deranged. I could tell from my first reading of a comment he once made to me. It went beyond the usual lefty who disagrees with me, it was too heated and angry. Well, there are (unfortunately) a LOT of otherwise decent lefty people who react that way, but he just had something else about him. Something that I sensed was slightly off mentally.
I do hope you get this scum bag away from you forever. What a drain!
