i sampled my shisha pipe today having finally sourced some charcoal suitable for inside use,very pleasant smooth smoke.also found some great recipes, the best one  using absinthe/water and aniseed flavoured tobacco...hmmm sounds tasty.

i.m going to egypt on monday! finally after a week of uncertainty i have flights,transfers, accomodation etc confirmed.
its been 12 years since i visited a hot country and i've never ventured outside europe ..yes i am kinda over excited right now.

i was feeling decidedly upbeat this morning when i went to work.however when i got there i was greeted with the news that a colleagues husband had died after suffering a heart attack.this unfortunately bought back all kinds of bad memories of when my step dad died, also from a heart attack,every time i think of her and feel bad for her i remember ( Read more... )

i just got woken by a pneaumatic drill drilling into metal across the road.and now i know what the most obnoxious sound in the universe is.:-(

my, what a tedious week in work so far,managed to have some fun in the afternoon though building a money house (thank u stu for that idea).
day off tomorrow thank goodness. tonight i'm having dinner with steve then getting drunk ,could get used to having weekdays off even if it does mean working saturday.

i have finally got around to hauling my ass to the gym for some much needed exercise, its been at least a month since i've done that.so gym tomorrow and swimming pre work on friday hopefully.Paradoxically more exercise seems to mean more energy, oh and its amazing how much it clears the fuzz from my head
