Unspoken

---

Some things are better left unspoken, and some things don’t need to be spoken at all… but it can be really hard to distinguish one from the other.

“Two o’clock and I wish that I was sleeping,

You’re in my head like a song on the radio

It’s five in the morning and I can’t go to sleep,

‘Cause I wish, oh I wish ( Read more... )

Spontaneous attack of insomnia in the middle of the night? This sounds nasty... this night I've got inspiration just after getting to bed around noon and I was afraid that if I turn on my computer and start writing, I won't be able to get ANY sleep. But I just couldn't let this idea go! Finally, I ended up with a piece of paper and pen. One page so far. Not as good as yours, of course, especially as 'Unspoken' is my absolutely favourite piece. I've noticed that this 'flowing from inside' stories ALWAYS are something like short oneshots. Never a long story. Maybe it is due to the nature of this temporary enlightenment. Oh, and forgive me for putting it here, but I cannot send you an email with FFXIII and also some links from me (there is Chronic Backstabbing Disorder in there!), I'd have to try from another email account or maybe later...

Oh, I can't even tell you how often I get up in the middle of the night to turn on the computer or to scribble something down (I live alone and the kitties don't mind; the problem is that I often can't sleep afterwards). The best ideas come at night just before you fall asleep, I guess ( ... )

Well, I have to sleep, though I don't have any pesky school now. And I have parents so staying up in middle of the night can be dangerous. I've heard that before sleep the brain slows down functions or something and this is why people often get ideas before sleeping. So I think it's less an 'insomnia story' and more a 'brain, like all intelligent people, works better when it tries to work good, not to work hard. Working hard is for lower forms of existence, like students' story ( ... )

You have no school? I so envy you!

Well, I wasn't sure if 'insomnia' was supposed to refer to the writer or the characters. In my story, the characters suffer from it (not me), so I basically wanted to ask if you were suffering from insomnia, or the characters in your story...

Oh, that sounds interesting. Promise to let me read it sometimes, ok? If it's as good as the last bits of sent me, it's gonna be epic.

That's a funny idea. Although Aerith is a lot younger, so I guess in canon setting, Lucretia was already dead by the time Ifalna got pregnant.

Actually, I can't see Gillia boast about anything in specific. She doesn't seem the type, and Angeal doesn't seem a person with extremely special abilities (unlike Seph), at least not as a child (despite maybe being very advanced and 'mature' for his age). But that's just my way of seeing it...

I really like the other idea ('overcompensation' is still one of my favourite words). You can have 15 different icons, you know, so you can upload the other one, too.
