Hi! I found out about this community through shingkhor , who is awesome, and who said that I should post some of my monsters here...so here I am :D My name is Melissa and I make all kinds of things, but mostly (well, lately), I do a ton of sewing. Wow those are fantastic! I love how cuddly they look! Out of curiosity, where are you able to find that kind of faux fur? I've looked at Jo-Ann fabrics here and they seem really limited to their faux furs. I'm trying to get a gameplan together for creating my own stuffed dinosaurs. Good luck with the sewing machine! I don't know how to use one either and would be equally intimidated!

Thank you! I go to a place called Yardage Town that's local to San Diego, so that might not be much help to you...I know there are a few places online that offer different kinds of fur if you aren't able to find any other fabric stores around, but I don't have any experience with going that route. I wish you lots of luck!

these are great! And welcome to the party! I've been trying to figure out what to make the kids I babysit for valentine's day and you have just given me some ideas - mostly that it doesn't have to be an actual animal, it can be a crazy looking monster. thanks, and again, these are really cool!

Hmmm there's another seller on Etsy if I'm not mistaken that has creatures that the first one of your's looks like. Weird.

Ah, not intentional, I promise. I know there are other people that make eyes the same way I like to and I'm not afraid to take inspiration from all over the place, but I do my best to make things my own (as much as is possible in a world where pretty much everything's been done...haha).
