I got my letter from the communications department. I didn't get in. I spoke to my comm advisor and he said there was very little chance I could get in. So I'm changing my major. Sociology. I can take the pre-reqs next quarter and declare in the spring. I should still be able to graduate on time. I'm thinking about taking summer classes again this ( Read more... )

Oh Candice! I'm so sorry you didn't get in. Sociology is a good choice for you. I'm going to miss you over Thanksgiving, maybe I'll find a way to pop over there before Chirstmas. I'm really happy for you and Ian. I think that's funny his mom's still telling him what to do even though he's in college. Noob.

Yeah, I really like sociology. I'm taking a course right now and I love it. Plus I haven't been going to class lately, and we just had our first test, which I scored a 3.1 on, even though I missed 2 of the three movies and haven't done any of the reading. lol.

My GPA is too low. He told me they won't even look at your application unless it's a 3.0 and that they had so many people apply this quarter that they denied a bunch of 3.2s, and that they'll probably bump it up to 3.3 next quarter.
