happy new year!

I was on a train from 8AM Jan 1-noon Jan 2, so I did nothing for the holiday :( Not that I ever do, but hey.

1. Yuletide reveal: I only wrote one fic this year, and had a lot of fun with it, but sadly it wasn't too far outside my usual product.

Hugs. It sounds like you did make some progress in 2010. Perhaps keeping track of things in your LJ more (i.e. updating more) or in a private journal would help with things? I find that I forget my own progress a lot of the time unless I can go back & remind myself.

I will try to do that! I really haven't been satisfied with my degree of LJ-updating lately. >_>

I think that there are two types to Yuletide writer: one, who elects to go wildly outside their comfort zone and do something they'd never have done before, and one who hopes that they get a prompt tolerably close to what they can already do. I'm the latter! (I'm also v. late commenting on Yuletide, but I did read and enjoy your fic.)

My new year's resolution for a couple of years was "spend more money on having more fun". I think this year it had better be "maintain fun, but actually have some other personal goals"!

Haha, this is the first time I've ever gotten a Yuletide assignment in what was already my main fandom, so it feels like cheating to me /o\ I'm pretty happy either way, though. (And I'm glad you enjoyed!)

"Have more fun" sounds like a good goal.
