By the way -- as a new standing homework assignment, could I get everyone who's been following the crash course in evolution to post a comment when you've absorbed the lastest post, even if you don't have any questions? That way I know when it's time to move on to the next one, and when to give people more time to read through and think about ( Read more... )

I thought your last lecture was, like, totally 100% clear, professor. Anyone who is lost was obviously just not paying attention. I've heard a lot of lectures in my career as a student, and that was totally the best, although I just KNOW your next one is going to be, like, even better. Were you just born knowing all this stuff? Because it totally sounds like it. I wish you were teaching all my other classes, like Renaissance Literature and The Sociology of Primates. I bet you know everything about those subjects, too.

By the way, I'm going to be out of town for the final exam. That's not a problem is it?

Well, it's a take-home final, so as long as you can return it by the deadline, you'll be fine...

Oh,good. 'cause some of my other professors are telling me that I'm not doin' so well in their classes. Like, I don't get it. Coach says that just showing up is 90% of the battle, and I'm in classes most of the time, so I figure I should have, like, a 83% in classes. That's like a 'B,' right? I mean, it's just simple math. You'd think they'd be better at it being profs and all...jeez.

Oh, right, class...sorry.

I think I'm there with you. Luckily, I can always go back and look at the notes, right?
