request for help - curvalicious cardigan from Big Girl Knits

I can't seem to find anyone who's actually made it, and I'm stuck on some of the directions. In between finishing the lower body and joining the sleeves to the lower body, the instructions seem to go from RS row to RS row, which is impossible because this thing isn't knit in the round. The publisher doesn't list any errata at all for this pattern.

Are you in the Join sleeves to lower body section of the instructions? If so, it seems to have a p across on WS rows snuck in there in each section... if you're on the sleeves portion, they are worked in the round.

I'm at the 'put lower body aside' part, actually. I've read the directions about 4000 times, and I don't see a WS row specifically addressed. It makes sense to purl a row in between, but I'm not sure where/when I should do it. Maybe I should knit a whole RS row, and then purl the MC while I put the CC on holders. Otherwise, I'm envisioning holes around my sleeves.

Believe me, I'm more than ready to get the sleeves started in the round. Circulars are my best friends, and I'm going to do these sleeves the same way I do socks, both at once on circs.

I'm still a little confused as to where exactly you are so I'm of no help! ;)

Looking at that section of the pattern most of it seems to say "cont working in st st with colors as set," but I know with this pattern it's a little wonky (ahhh intarsia!).

It is a very cute pattern -- hope you can figure it out.
