Okay, I finally got around to watching some NCIS, first season. I'm not terribly impressed by most of the characters, or by the writing, but Ducky is awesome

I do like the way the poet gets far beyond the surface of the character (which is often the limit of "typical" fan poetry - though I've read some truly incredible stuff in the LOTR fandom). I don't happen to agree with the poet on several points, but that's neither here nor there.

Does make me wanna go hug Ducky, though, for sure. Not that it takes much. :-)

Thanks for the rec, and for pointing out the 32 pages of Ducky-centric fic... It's not like I have anything else to do... ;-)
