How bad it is that I moan a bit during winter about how chilly it is?

Since I don't work with you and have to listen to it all day, I can handle it ;) Also, as I understand, your land (like the Brits, and indeed the southern US) don't understand about such things as insulation for houses, so it does get surprisingly chilly inside when it's cold outside (for certain values of 'cold', of course). Michigan has no excuse :p

Yeah, that's the bit that really drives me nuts. When it's 15 outside it's like 12 inside. I miss furnaces.

For the people that have been bitching about the weather, my normal response at this time of year is "It's Michigan. This is the standard weather every year."

My response right now is "At least we don't have earthquakes." Seriously, if this weather is the worst we have to complain about, we're just fine.
