If there were no cello on "The Ugly Organ" the album would have lost most of its character, and in turn lost most of its charm, its playability, its quality, and its place among some of the greatest storytelling albums of all time!
I mean, just tell me that the cello riff right before the singing starts in "Some Red-Handed Sleight of Hand" doesn't permeate throughout your being. Just tell me the song would be better without it.
The cello MUST stay! In my opinion, Cursive's music ONLY got better with the addition of the cello.
Tears stream down my face, hoping Kasher and crew will realize if not Gretta, another must join them.
