I did consider going into Library Science (hellooo, Batgirl was a librarian by day). I'm a people person though so I'm pursuing teaching instead. I do require research of my students though.

I was compared to Counselor Troi by a couple people when I was in high school, too. Though I've never had her svelte figure.
I have always loved books and reading. I literally started reading when I was just a year and a half old. My mother had a dream when I was a kid that I was missing for three days and I came strolling nonchalantly up the driveway. She grabbed me and asked me where I'd been and I replied, "I was at the library." My parents used to joke that I had a "growth" at the end of my hand (a book). I also love to help people and learn new things. I love the search for a piece of info and having someone exclaim, "That's it exactly!" I like telling stories. I realized last night that I love being surrounded by words, even at home. I have poetry magnets on my refridgerator, books in my living room, books in my bathroom, books in my bedroom, books in the kids bedroom, books in the kitchen.. I'm a bookaholic! It's just a perfect match for me.
