My friend curls her hair and it ends up looking just like yours. Her hair is dark brown with a blonde chunk in her bangs, and a few blond chunks in the middle layer of her hair, right behind her ears (like if you reach just past your ear and grab that section, that's sort of the middle layer) so when they curl, they sort of mix in with the pieces around her face to frame her prettiness.

I tried to find some pics, but this was all I could come up with. She's on the right...
