My hair's almost the same color as yours (a little lighter), and a hairdresser once said that honey blonde highlights and dark chocolate lowlights would be lovely. So go for it! :)

Or, if you're gutsy, try some red highlights. Just for a change!

I actually think the color it is NOW really suits you.You are very pretty.
I think though that a dark rich choclatey color would make your eyes really pop.
