How often do you all cut your hair?
Because I live in Maine and its the dead of winter, and I just got my hair cut 5 weeks ago, but is dry and the ends are splitting and it just looks bad
Is it too early to make a trim appointment cause im starting to go nutso.

Thanks

i havent trimmed my hair since july, and i get out of the shower without shampooing most of the time and let it drip dry and people ask me if i get it permed cause its perfect soft tight ringlet curls.

I haven't had mine cut since September. But if you have split ends, you should definitely get a trim, no matter if it's only been five week. A lot of people I know get theirs done every 6 weeks.

i cut my own every time i see it getting too long, but since i use all kinds of moisterizing shampoos and conditioners and products, i dont have a problem with split ends ever

ive heard ever six weeks to every 3 months or so... i mean it all depends on ur type of hair and weather and all sorts of things, like i have super humidity in Fl and so mine look all nasty when not trimmed cause even with moisturizing shampoos and conditioners my hair still frizzes out so it looks all.gnarly haha. and winter can dry ur hair out a lot, so i guess go ahead and trim it.
also try the whole not shampooing deal, i am and unless i find it gets to buildup-y it sounds like a good idea, just using conditioner and all, cause i like to go 2 or 3 days without washing my hair, it perfects the curl.

<3 lol i wrote like a novel. srrry

i trimmed my hair just a little while ago, but before that i hadn't had a cut in quite awhile. i live in the northernmost tip of the u.p. of michigan, so it's the dead of winter here as well. my hair has been dry, but i haven't had a whole lot of problems with split ends. i usually make sure to keep the ends moisturized well though. that might help you
