Hey everyone. I believe this is the first time I am posting a topic in this community although I have answered some posts.

I am planning on getting my hair cut in the next week and I cannot decide how to cut it. I have extremely curly hair that goes from very tight curls to loose fluffy curls. It has always been kind of a pain because it is not the ( Read more... )

you have a very pretty face and from the pic looks oval shaped. I definatly think you could pull off a short pixie cut,if you have the back and sides cut nice and close it will take most of the curl out and just use some product in the top, I've seen a few curly haired girls do this and it looked really good,great summer cut. and off topic absolutely love your tat!! very nice

That is so cute! I wish my hair would curl up in ringlets like that in the front but alas it only does it in the back. Who is that girl? She is so pretty and fresh faced!

I think that your hair is curly enough that the style you posted would take a lot of work -this one might be easier even if the front ringlets aren't quite that defined.

I like both pictures posted so far. I understand what you mean by having short curly hair & looking like Justin Timberlake. Have you tried photoshopping your face into the look you like? (I'm sure there has to be a website that will help you with that)

I'd say be brave & go for the cute style you like!

I am horrible at photo shop lol
But I think I am going to go with the picture I posted in my entry. I really like it and I figure, if I hate it I can pull off a bandana or a hat pretty well. Thanks!

My only issue with it is that because your curls are much tighter than the model's, I would look for a picture of a similar haircut, only with curls more like yours, and see if you still like that length.

you never posted any after pics did you get it done? how short did you go?

I didn't post a picture because it was a complete fail. I found a picture to show her what I wanted and she didn't do anything I asked her to. I wanted it to be even all the way around with just a touch taken off the back to give it a slight angle. She ended up cutting it short in front and leaving it long in back. I hate it. My husband said it looks like a "jew fro" like how they talk about it in movies :(

I will have to grow it out and find a new stylist. Worst experience ever.
