I'm completely new to this community and decided to introduce myself! (:

My name is Sarah Jeanne, and I have curly hair. I used to straighten it allll the time, but I eventually learned to accept it. Kind of. I still straighten bits of it.

You look great with side-swept bangs! The full on chopped bands look a bit off, I think maybe because they're obviously straight compared to the rest of the hair. But the side bangs better integrate into the rest of your hair + face :)

Trust me, I learned from that hair cut hahaha.

(It wasn't really meant for curly hair, which is why I alwaysalwaysalways straightened it. Except, you know, in these pictures hahaha.)

Thanks, though. :)

Yay! Purple lasted like, an hour. haha. That was frustrating. But the red lasted a pretty decent length.

TY (((:

Normally, I half-straighten it. Haha. I straighten my bangs and the top part of my hair so it kind of just... falls into a curl, instead of spiraling out of the top of my head.

I used conditioner, sometimes, to tame the frizz. It worked pretty well for me, because mousse sometimes just left my hair completely twisted and it had that stupid weird wet look that I'm just not into - I learned that texturizing products worked better than curling products, for me anyway.

I put the product in my hand, ran it through my hair, scrunched to ultimate curlage, and then when it was dry I straightened the roots and ends.

Hope that helps? Or even makes decent sense? And thanks! :D

What sort of texturizing products did you use? My hair looks like how yours when its curly, and I use mousse and I totally get that weird wet look. I'd kill to have my hair looks like how yours does in the middle pictures. :(

Thanks, and I prefer the side swept, too.
