Hello! My name is Jenni. Like many, I have always had a love/hate relationship with my curls. I have found as I get older I enjoy them a lot more. I wasn't always a curlygirl though! I've also had straight hair until puberty!!

And I also have hypothyroidism, though I haven't had any thinning, all I know is that my hair will probably fall out if I stop taking hormone replacement.

Your curls rock, ma'am. Did you use product in those recent pics and if so, what?

Thank you! I did use product in all of the curly hair photos. In my recent ones I use Infusium 23 Frizzologie shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping spray gel, and John Frieda Brilliant Brunettes Shine Shock glosser. I totally swear by all of these products!

I thought I was the only person in the world whose hair went from straight to super-dooper curly at puberty!!!! Yay! I'm not alone. You're hair is awesome, btw. :)

I thought I was the only person too. Mine was as straight as yours.Do either of your girls have one parent with very curly hair and the other with completely straight hair? My dad has tight kinky curls like african american hair even tho he is white. My mom has pin straight hair. So it kind of makes sense that my hair would be a mix. Mine never get super curly tho. Just kate hudson type curls.

My hair did it too...until I was about 5 it was in little sausage curls, and then from 5 til around 11 it was very straight. And then, with puberty, it frizzed until the frizz became curls!! Strangely enough my mom went from curly hair to straight hair, and my dad has always had very, very curly hair. I love my hair. I've wondered if it will ever turn straight again, I hope it won't (unless it is cos I'm using a straightener!)

Do you use products? Your hair is beautiful!
