I thought I'd share...

I've had my hair really long (down to my butt) and the shortest being about an inch all around. I like it when it's short because I have scalp Psoriasis which requires me to wear a shower cap to bed some nights. Right now, here's my routine when I need to shampoo to get the oil out- Redken Shampoo, Aussie Deeeep Conditioner, then I blot my hair ( Read more... )

You're so cute! I love the cut! What is your tattoo of? I have a friend who has all of her tattoos in that beautiful blue/turquoise color and it looks awesome.

ROFL- it cracks me up. I have three- the one you're talking about is a smiley face star (think of the carebears star), I have a band of stars that goes around my left arm, and I have a star with a flame behind it on my belly. Thanks for the compliment!!

I think I may have scalp psoriasis too. Either that or dermatitis... not sure. Every time I get an appt with the dermatologist it's cleared up already! Any tips? I have found tee tree oil to be very helpful with the itching, but it seems that air drying is sometimes a trigger to a flare up... your hair is really cute by the way!

Psoriasis is flakey, itchy, and if I don't take care of it then it gets patchy and flakes off big time. My recomendations: find out what makes you flare up- stress, seasons changing, alcohol and stay away from it. My husband noticed that when the weather goes from hot to cold or vice versa it gets worse. Also, a multi-vitamin really really helps. Air drying imo really helps- I think the the heat from a blow dryer makes it worse, but it could be different for some people. Go to a dermalogist and they will be able to recommend some things- have you tried TGel- Neutrogena makes it and that is something that you could use and not need a prescription for. Thanks for the compliment and sorry this is so long! :)

I think your hair is adorably; very curly but defined. I also like the highlights. Is your hair wet in this picture or is it wet look? Natural sheen?

Your hair is very short. If mine were short, I'd probably follow your advice but mine is very curly, very thick and I have more hair than the average person not to mention, it's long. If I straightened it, it would be to my waist. I use tons of product (conditioner), lots of finger action because I define my curls and I blow dry because I have so much hair, it would take all day to dry naturally.
