Dood, this is the honest truth. Bridesmaids dresses are ONLY sized for bust size. When I was at my skinniest (like 110) back in the day, I had to wear a size 16 because of my yobs.
They do that because it's easier to hem and tailor every other part of the dress except the bodice/bust.
So don't beat yourself up. Be proud of your cans!!!!!!
its not the girls though! Its my farking ribs! In this size dress, if I lift my arms up the girls go popping right out! The measurement thats giving me fits is seriously my ribs... that measurement around your ribs right under the boobies.... Thats what threw me into the bigger size! The bust part of the dress now has to be taken in a bit.... argh.
I just hate number sizing..(Im a sucker for it... self esteem and all) unless of course its vanity sizing and Im smaller. My feet are nearly an entire size smaller in the past two years! yay me! (LOLZ)
