I think when we are doing the major reorganisation in a few weeks we might well move them - I am beginning to look around and work out where they might work.
The apple cake is one of those easy things I should do more often; it's a good way to use up eaters that are getting a bit past it.
I needed a break from house tidying (a guest is coming for dinner), and what could be better than photos of lovely flowers and delicious cake! (I followed the cake link and am going to try the recipe in the next day or two.) I think your newly uncovered paved area will be a nice addition for garden sitting, and I'll keep an eye out for it in future posts.
There's always a feeling that we need to tidy for guests!
The apple cake recipe is one of those really simple ones that always tastes good.
We are planning a bit of a garden refit over Easter, all being well. Then I think I will move some of the furniture from the decking, or sort it all out, and then add something new over there.
Awww, thank you! I so love Caravaggio! And that cake recipe sounds yummy, so I might give it a try one day. Today, it was a quark traybake, which is yummy and simple, too.
I do like this recipe and have now reminded myself to make it more often! (A couple of times since Christmas I have made one using a more complicated recipe that was as good, but definitely not better.)
And I feel as if winter is almost over now that Caravaggio is back outdoors :)
