So - when we left them at the end of Chapter Six, The exploratory party were in the hidden valley Tindómë and Haldir had found on their earlier trip - but Gimli had just fallen and damaged his leg.

Works for me - they're not having to worry about differing time lines or punching human sized holes in reality so hopefully it ought to work.

This seems completely reasonable to me - elves do meet on the dream paths from time to time, this is just extending the distance! ("Just", she says, hee!)

Oddly, now I think of it, neither Tindómë nor Haldirin have really done that. Tindómë is all about the big holes between dimensions, and Haldirin hasn't thought of sex with the houseless because - to quote his mother - that would be gross... Ithilienne has the jump on both of them.

Although, if he can copy his sister and dream pointedly long-distance, it would be a good way for Haldirin to keep up his acquaintance with Rhiwen... :)

And yes - Ithilienne is just ramping up the volume of the dreams, honestly, officer!!
