Today I went to M&S to food shop. And life here is totally back to normal - there were hardly any parking spaces! I bought a week's food and then wrote my menu list for the week as I was doing under the lockdown - I reckon it's a good habit.

I said I would show you what I bought in B&Q yesterday - here they are -

What beautiful chilli plants! I don't think I've ever seen that sort before. The plant really is very pretty and I'm very curious as to what the peppers will actually look like! I could google but I'll wait for whatever happens and see it here.
:)

Funny but I have also gotten into the habit of making a shopping list again. It is a good thing.

S2C tells me the peppers will also be black! We will wait and see - hopefully.

I really find writing the menu list useful, otherwise I realise there is meat in the fridge that should have been eaten 3 or 4 days ago, or salad greens that are limp and past their prime. It is a good habit to have acquired from the lockdown period.

I told you no such thing! Purple when unripe, bright red when ripe.

beautiful plants!
they would be great just as a decorative plant used with something silvery grey - artemisia - which has taken over a corner of my garden
and Dusty Miller which has claimed a large pot for itself

They really are so pretty - they would look so nice in a border, and definitely good beside an artemisia.

there were already a couple of interested bees,

That's great!
Even if you don't get chilies, you will have very pretty plants in your garden

They do look very pretty, much more decorative, at present, than the runner beans behind them, although those should look pretty when they flower, too :)

Black chillies? Fascinating. I wonder what colour the fruit is. The plant look very ornamental.
