Such nice flowers.

And I see you can get locally milled flour, that's also very nice because then you know it's fresh.

Laxey Mills flour is fine for pastry, fruit cakes and bread, but can be a bit heavy for a good sponge cake! Nice to be able to buy local, though.

And here is a picture of the Mills that I took a few years ago.

Gorgeous blooms!

The dogs are thinking, "I hope she's buying bones. Steak is good, too. Of course, chicken would be fine."

One can never have too many spring flowers! Especially if they are just now coming out as they are here.

Monthly Diary day ! Gah!

Isn't it lovely to see the spring flowers!

I only remembered to do my diary after dinner last night.

That is a teeny tiny hamlet isn't it! It's so lovely to see all the spring flowers now.

It's a bit bigger than the houses on the picture - I was making sure I got the mountain in - the one on the left with the transmitter masts.

It is so nice to see the spring flowers - but I won't rely on there being no more snow until we get to early April!

Unfortunately, most of the ones around here that aren't very well sheltered have been literally shredded and blown away by the late Winter wind storms we've had in the past two weeks, including today.

Oh I recognise the problems - and sympathise.

These flowers are all in sheltered spots - although our winter of winds like that is drawing to a close, I hope; it hasn't been that windy for about 10-12 days now and the forecast for the next week or so shows nothing more than about 15mph.
