Hail

I came down with a bad cold, and was all covered up in bed, reading, when I heard what sounded like pebbles on the roof and windows. I got up to look and saw hail.

Pretty amazing actually.

Once before - I think in 2001 or so when it hailed in SF. I also remember in Dec 1997 that it had snowed here (very briefly).

Yes, I was amazed then too :)
