About that cupcake with alcohol...

I posted earlier in the month asking about making cupcakes with liquor ... I've decided on chocolate w/ raspberry Schnapps [thanks for the suggestion! :)] So ... can I just substitute the alcohol for the milk/water in the recipe? Would the alcohol dry it out? I've never made anything like this before :\ TIA!

I've made cupcakes with tequila in them & I just added it with the eggs & sugar, and then used it instead of water in the icing. The sponge was really light too, I think it worked well. So I'd just go for it :]

i'd think you'd use the alcohol in place of vanilla.

Putting all that alcohol would ruin the cake...too much alcohol in the batter would make it over powering. I accidently made that mistake with my spiced rum cupcakes.
