How long after taking your cupcakes out of the oven do you remove them from the pan?

Do you put them on a wire rack to cool?

I take them out right away, while i'm still wearing my oven mits, I just turn them over onto the rack and then flip them on the rack so their all topside up and let them cool

I take them out after a couple of minutes. Yeah, I use a cooling rack. I don't know where I picked up the habit.
