Colorful theme cupcakes

Hi there.

So I spent my weekend again, with cupcakes :) I made the beach & shopaholic theme for my friends and the bugslife the for my neighbour's niece birthday today.

I stay up until 7am to finish up all the frosting and design.

Im tired, but I like it :D

I've stayed up all night decorating cupcakes, but they didn't look this good. They are adorable! I love the shopping ones and the bugs/butterflies. Oh heck, I love the beach theme too!

i take me about 1 hour to design 2 dozen of cupcakes :)

Oh my gosh! Those are adorable.

After they are done cooking, you turn off the heat, and leave them in the oven for 20 more minutes? I love how they are all flat and smooth.

yeah, i leave them in the oven for 20mins to cool down bcos if I just take them out instantly the top of cakes will wet and not flat (sometimes sank). its hard to spread the icing then. :)

Thanks for that great tip! The last cupcakes I made were sticky on top and I was wondering why.

They're lovely. I need to remember the ladybug design for my daughter's first birthday next year. Her bedroom is butterflies, dragonflies, bumblebees, ladybugs and flowers :)
