Kyaa, thank you ^^ I have to say though, I hope his happy ending is with Kurogane. Every new chapitre, I hope we see something, you know? I mean, we saw in 105 him noticing something was wrong with Kurogane... But what will happen now? I'm hoping that Fay has to use his powers against the Hund/Soldat/Kero/whatever, more willing to do so now that he is in love with Kurorin has grown to care for his companions. But! We only have 'til tomorrow and then hopefully the lovely Alison will have scannage for us *heart* Hope it gives us a little something to go on...
Very nice. I like your portrayal of Fai & Ashura's relationship, Fai realizing that Ashura can be cruel and manipulative but still loving him and wanting to believe the best about him. The foreshadowing about Yuuko and Fai's wish is also a nice tidbit.
Great ending - the image reminds me of the one that's on a pencilboard, actually. This is a lovely character development piece.
YAY you spotted it ^^ The shitajiki was indeed what this fic was supposed to be describing. I just left out the wine. Darn it I need that shitajiki *sobs* I have the other Fay one but this one is much lovlier.

Thanks very much for the nice comment ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed it. I prefer to think that Fay wasn't a complete idiot in the relationahip and that he saw the bad things in Ashura... Of course, we might be about to see that Ashura wasn't a tyrannical King after all.
Ooo. <3 Reverse-illustration is so cool - we seriously need a term for writing a story to go with a picture! I love your characterization - Ashura reminding Fay that he is King, being manipulative and starting a war ties in with the canon very well, and Fay's "I'm not very good at lying to myself." is so heart-wrenching. I can just see him standing there and saying that. I love how you tie in the book, the Witch and Fay's overwhelmingly strong magic, too. And since I adore musings on the nature of magic, I liked that you had Fay specify his type of magic. ^^ Also, the words "Isaa" and "Isaagara" are pretty and somehow very fitting. *^^* Now I can't help but imagine Shirahime appearing in Celes under the name "Isaagara"! ^^
