hey! I came by your journal from the deutsch_kulture community. I'm also a student from Sydney, and I'm really curious to know what competition it was that you entered. I haven't heard about any compeition where you can go to Germany or I would have entered straightaway lol. Anyway congrats on the comp, you're so lucky and I am soo envious of you lol. I entered the make your mark competition that Student Exchange Australia runs 3 times a year. You have probably seen the ads on afternoon telly on the commerical stations.

I live in the Sydney South West area (Macarthur Region), what about you? I had a look at the link you gave me, and it sounds like a great competition and I'd love to enter. Unfortunately I have my HSC coming up in a month's time so I don't have time to work on a design. And after that that I'll be in Uni and too old to enter :( Lol but no worries, I'll keep my eye out for other competitions, or save up the hard way. I had a look at your design. It was a really cool concept- I really like your idea of using the passport. Do you take Art or Design subjects at school? Anyway, when you go to Germany don't forget to post entries so we people back here in Australia can drool with jealousy lol. Best of luck.

I have the HSC in a month too(good luck =]), how scary is that!!
You can always do Uni exchanges, from what I know, all the Uni's in NSW have sister Uni's in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
