Phantom of the Opera (2004): Six Years Later

So, Jared and Thinny (btw - 12 years old) wanted to watch the Phantom of the Opera movie out of morbid curiosity. Both watched the film adaptation for the first time, so associations with Butler as That300Guy, Emmy Rossum as movie!Bulma, and Patrick Wilson as Night Owl.

Me: Fun Fact: The father is Ramin Karimloo. He played the Phantom on the West End in the original and sequel.
Jared: So, they hired a guy who actually can sing and can play the Phantom, but cast King Leonitis as the Phantom?

I have Kopit's version on DVD. It's my favorite. And Kopit's version is play at the Candlelight Pavillion in March next year, I'm so going. Kopit's Mini-series is the furthest from the book, but the phantom is the most correct.
