Sssooooo...

Somebody explain the appeal of colors to me, cause right now the whole concept seems really dumb.

Like a lot of people seem to like 'blue.' What the hell is blue? What makes it any better than whatever the hell green is?

It's personal preference.

Blue is the best, though.

Does that extend to taste and stuff too or what.

If you really like...blueberries, I guess.

Does that mean blackberries taste black.

Well, colors can help you tell what things are good to eat and what things are not. Like... a banana. If a Banana is green then it's probably too unripe to be really tasty. If it is yellow then that means it's just right! If it is brown then it's going to be very mushy but still OK. If it is black then it's probably going to be less OK. If it's gone all the way back to green again, then it's mouldy and should only be eaten if very, very, very hungry.

I hope this helps!

Good! I'm glad! You can also tell if a Banana is good by it's smell, if you can't see the colors on it, and I think that will be more useful for helping you pick good bananas.

Yeah I usually smell 'em and touch 'em a little, but it's harder to tell how mushy it is with a banana.

I suppose it's no different from having a preferred taste, texture, or smell.

Those are all really different though. Thinking I'm outta luck here.

Not terribly. They all appeal to different senses and vary from person to person.

No color is any better or worse than any other. They are simply spectrums of light or pigmentation, and how the eye percieves them.

Oh god you are getting science in here okay. So blue and shit is all... a bunch of crazy hocus pocus you call light. And it's not any different from whatever green or red is.

It is not "crazy hocus pocus". That said, blue, green, and red are different colors. However, they are formed in similar manners.

I know it ain't but it totally sounds like hocus pocus, man.
