Full Circle, Personal Demon, and Indie Book Award

I’m approximately 2,000 words into Full Circle II: Changeling.  I’ve often said that writing gets it down and editing makes it pretty, but accepting that as I’m writing is difficult. I find myself staring at sentences and thinking, “Is something really missing or do I just think something is missing; and thus, cause something to be missing?” That’s ( Read more... )

Hey you!! Long time no hear. Many Congrats are in order. Yay!!! I love your stories and enjoy how the atomsphere and settings just bring the characters to life. I'm glad your stories will be widely available and this exposure is good. (Well enough with my Fangirly moment)

Your an excellant writer and it shows in the stories you've written and hopefully continue to write.

Yea! for good reviews. I really enjoyed that story when you first put it out. Very cool looking cover, too. I'm also pretty jazzed to hear you're doing the next bit of Full Circle.

And not to be too much of a pain in the butt, what's happening with About To Sin? Has that been published somewhere and I missed the announcement? Is it still in limbo?

And it's lovely to see you again *hugs*.

*hugs* I'll be losing that cover art due to rights issues. :( I'm really bummed about that because I adored the cover.

About to Sin? Funny thing about that. It's busy not editing itself. I set out bribes for the editing faeries and they're just not doing it. Are your editing faeries any better? Could you send one or two to me for some kind of bootcamp for mine?

Actually, in a moment of brutal honesty, I think my fear of failure has kicked in with that story. I keep thinking about my plans for that title and I get terrified. I don't understand it. Logically it makes no sense. If I get rejected by agents, then I go directly to print publishers, if I get rejected by them then I go to ebook publishers. I'm confident that I'll find an approriate house for it, so why am I such a chicken-shit?

I think I care too much about that title. >.<

My editing faeries walked off the job. Something about working for sugar cookies and chocolate milk not cutting it. They were bitching about a dental plan, too.

I really enjoyed that story and I can see why you feel so attached to it. I got nothing on the advise though. Sometimes we really get barnacled to a story and the idea that somebody might not love it as much as we do is paralysing. Stupid, yes, but *shrugs*. I hope you work it out. You know I'm always ready to listen if you need it.

I think the editing faeries and the bed-making faeries have teamed up. >.<

Oh..a dental plan...never thought about that -.-' I have a tube of ambesol, I wonder if they'll fall for it.

I apprecaite it, but I'll work it out. I always do.

Oh, that's great to hear!

What is "that", you ask?

Well, all of it really (except maybe "Boom Boom Ba").. But especially Coming Together being a finalist, and Personal Demon getting good reviews!
