Your hair looks wonderful! I love how bright the color is.
I avoid magazines that can be classified as men's or women's. I've read them and flipped through them, but generally the whole 'this is how you should live and what you should do' - which, admittedly, is only a suggestions, and probably a well meaning one at that - tends to annoy me. I like the more general, kind of social culture/politics/why people do that shit magazines. I have this whole delusion that there is not reason why men and women should be different, so... I think my magazine choices feed into that.
Oh god, wow. I'm crazy. I do really enjoy your analysis of the mag. Very sensible, and makes me actually intrigued to check that magazine out.
The radio station that I mostly listen to has a lot of 90s grunge on it. Seriously, the best music. I love it soooo much.
The brightness is great, and drawing much comment. I am already mourning the intensity I'll lose with each hair wash, but such is life, I suppose.
I usually avoid that sort of magazine myself - I haven't read any magazines in ages, actually, but it used to be Empire and various sci-fi/fantasy things - but dipping a toe in is part of the hairdressing fun. :) Usually at that salon it's Russh or Oyster or something else ludicrously high-fashion, which is pretty much precisely the same "live your life like this" nonsense, just dressed up as art, darling. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed GQ, and now that I think about it, I still wouldn't be interested in reading Marie Claire, so... yeah, I dunno. But it was a fun experience.
Such is life. Is that darker color in the back your natural one?
I do like the high fashion magazines. I love the photography in them, and generally don't read a thing. I'm so art-oriented in my life that I can flip through a magazine, looking at only the pictures, and be perfectly happy. :) Glad it was fun! Stepping out of the box is always great like that.
