The Dee-Annotated Supernatural - Something Wicked

May 31, 2006 10:08

Didn't get to watch this on Monday. The Male was being shiatsued (and apparently breasts are a kidney disorder, who knew?) and then we went for food, so we taped it and watched it on Tuesday. I slapped together the snark as best I could because ohgod, no TIME, too much WORK ( Read more... )

Dean: Because I'm the oldest, which means... I'm always right.
Me: *giggle*
Sam: No it doesn't.
Dean: Yeah, it totally does.
Me: *out and out laughter*this is the one i texted you about.. to me it felt absolutely stupid and forced. there was no spark of amusement from Dean, and it feels unrealistic. Especially when compared with the later "oh god, kill me now" remark, which is actually a)funny, b)not stock sibling dialogue and c)in character ( ... )

You ARE in a bad mood, aren't you? *hugs*

I really did kinda like that car comment, mostly for its "I've been driving for eight hours and have no brain left and am answering on autopilot but realise halfway through that this is an entirely stupid thing to say but am sticking with it because it will annoy Sammy and that's fun" value. The joy of it is all in the Ackles' delivery. But maybe, y'know, he's just God for me. *G*

LOCK HIM IN THE CAR ALREADY.That would be SO FUNNY omg. Except that I suspect the Impala actually DOESN'T lock, and that's why they never bother ( ... )

HEE! Reading this pretty much reduced me to helpless snickering GLEE. Fantastic!

"Sith Dementor Wraith" - so that's what it is. Of course! Makes perfect sense. I was honestly creeped out about it in the scene where it was coming through the kid's window, though, because hello childhood nightmare come to life! The whole thing with hiding under the blanket, and then that's not safe, because this monster is real, and that was terrifying and really well done.

Mmm, yes, and much, much love for Dean's little speech after not shooting the doctor. That, and how he helt himself in such tight check when in the same room with the thing... I'm still kind of surprised the Shtriga didn't just wither and die from Dean's looking at it, knowing what it was, knowing he'd have to wait to do anything about it...

You & your Male snark beautifully. ♥

You are totally right, that first scene with the Shtriga coming through the window was TOTALLY FREAKY. It is all those old nightmares come alive. Meep! *hides under the quilt*

Dean was rather glaring deathrays, wasn't he? *G* Love that boy.

And thanks! *G* We've had rather too much practice, I fear...
